Whew, I've officially survived my first 40 hour disney work week!!! Truly a miracle =) This week has been absolutely packed full of training in the boutique and off an on hurricane rain, what a combination haha. Today was my 5th and final day of "training", even though i've been working in the boutique for 3 days now. I had to do two of the hairstyles along with hair, makeup and nails all by myself in 30 minutes to be able to pass. Originally I thought that this would be a piece of cake but the hairstyles are SO incredibly specific and perfect that it's just going to take a little practice to get comfortable with dumping an entire bottle of gel onto someone's head....
Other than work, getting used to navigating through the disney tunnels and fully embracing my role as fairy godmother in training, there hasn't been much room for a lot else! I have the next three days off work and my friend Amanda [my soul mate from NY :)] are planning lots of fun things: finding nemo musical, animal kingdom, dress up dinner night at epcot, fireworks, beaches......amazing how much there is to do! I really really love Orlando, in a lot of ways it feels like Overland Park except the traffic is WAY worse in KC! .....maybe i'll stay.... :) hahah!
I'm sure there will be fun and exciting blogs coming the next couple of days with all of my day off adventures! I hope you're all doing well, sounds like things are chilly there. Part of me wishes it was chilly, the other part says enjoy the sun and sand while you have it!!

Hello Laura Claire! It sounds like you're having a lot of fun even though its pretty hectic sometimes! Fall conference is coming up and it makes me think about how amazing fall conference was last year! Thanks for making that trip so welcoming and fun for us awkward freshmen! :) I will be praying that things continue to go well!
