I am amazed how hard it is to find the time and energy to actually sit down at a computer these days! Thank you for your patience, I hope you've been enjoying the updates, even though they've been few and far between =)
The past four days have been filled with training, training and more training! Sunday was my first day at the Magic Kingdom. The morning began with "Once Upon a Dream" training and tour where we had the opportunity to walk around the kingdom an hour before it opened to the public! It was so strange to see everything quiet and empty....
Monday was my first day in COSTUME and I spent the day training underneath the castle in the Magic Kingdom tunnels =) Magic Kingdom is actually the 2nd story of the park, the first story being the 1.8 mile long tunnel system underneath where all cast members eat, change, rehearse, train etc. It's pretty top secret and pretty cool to say the least! My days have been starting at 5am, but I managed to snap a few pictu

Training has consisted of doing lots and lots of up-do's on lots and lots of cosmetology wigs. Today I spent a little time in the salon helping with makeup and nails but tomorrow I will be in the salon all day for everything, eeek!! They are VERY strict about their hairstyles and there are a lot of little things i'm nervous about; using hair gel, dealing with extremely short/long hair, unhappy customers and ....lice! (something that we apparently see all too often)
Last night my roomates and I had some friends over for a "Disney Look Mocktail" party =) I made brownies and cookies, we cleaned up and added some decorations and got dressed up for an evening of shirley temples and card games =) It was a lot of fun, I feel really grateful that I live with the girls that I do!
I am looking forward to friday, saturday and sunday because I have three days off work, hallelujah! Prayers for protecting my quiet times and finding good accountability would be very appreciated right now =) I miss all of you and I hope you have a great week!!

If you updated very often, there wouldn't be much to update about except that you were spending all your time updating the blog.
